This is another example of my redrawing a character that I thought I was okay with a few years ago. After watching the DVD set of Aquaman's 1960's Filmation cartoon, I decided to draw Black Manta in a standing pose instead of the swimming pose that I drew last time. It's getting a bit easier to factor in whatever kinds of weird lighting effects I plan to use as I draw while still making a pic that looks decent in black-and-white. |
