Another case of a cameo character turning into a full one. Nutroll: the Illness chapter one has a short scene in a dance club named Klubtronique. I needed a dancer to be interviewed so I was going to give her an outfit that'd be a homage to various female sci-fi characters. When I added parts from a certain famous gold droid to the outfit, I started thinking about that dancer in George Michael's 'Too Funky' video with the Thierry Mugler 'gold droid' outfit. So I started making this outfit more robot-like but owing more to a classic female robot. So I changed it to a cross between the same droid and other references. All of that together sounded like the real life dancer Chromegirl who graciously okays this character (Again, much thanks!). The funny thing is that I still can't decide what color this outfit is going to have in the issue. Below is a link to the original color scheme. |
