Ah, the sketch that started a few things. Panel one features my old scanner which had started refusing to scan things sometimes. Kinda killed part of my spirit there. The second was from someone telling me about this wacko that I'm not going to mention by name because I don't feel like getting attacked by any potential web-goonies. If you don't know who he is, look him up. Since I was on a roll with the Vs. vibe and since it's an overused concept, I applied it to a classic struggle: Beans vs. Cornbread. I started drawing the beans like 'regular' toonish beans, but once I started adding weapons and costumes they kinda turned out looking like something Tales of the Beanworld. Due to that, I'll probably never draw them again, but the Beans vs. Cornbread name WILL live on here. You'll see pretty soon. That catfight may turn into a big picture at one point. Who knows? Who cares. |
