This obvious homage to the cover of Amazing Fantasy no. 15 (drawn by Steve Ditko) was going to be the front cover to a mini-comic that I planned but never did. The idea was that the front cover would've had the homage to a certain web-slinger while the back cover would've had a second parody of another character's first appearance. Seeing as how I still may draw that, why bother to tell you?
The building is full of small characters that no one but me can even see due to their size, so let's skip that. The only one that's interesting is some photographer that has wavy lines around his head for some apparent reason. The 4:20 is purely an ECW-era Rob Van Damme reference and not call for you to get out your 'medicinal herbs' or anything. I'm so slow that I didn't find out about that 'other' meaning until after I drew it. Oh well. |
