The hovering sprite started off as a light sketch I'd made before going to sleep after an earlier attempt at just scribbling it out on the Wacom just didn't work. I didn't have reference while sketching it so I fixed it as I made the sprite. The pose is mostly based on how he moves in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 but I tried to keep him closer to the art for Demon's Crest for the SNES and Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins. I also tried to keep him somewhat in scale with Arthur's Marvel vs. Capcom sprites. |
