Just a simple pin-up of my favorite X-Men in their classic outfits. I have no idea where they are and, to be honest, don't care. It was supposed be in the same area of the original Dark Phoenix Saga brawl with Gladiator and the Imperial Guard, but it really doesn't look like the same place. Besides all the minor quibbles I have with my art, I really hate that I had Nightcrawler's eyes shining that intensly. A bit much, really. I still like the way Colossus came out though. I went kinda nuts with the line work on the muscle lines. As always, the Dave Cockrum costumes are ALWAYS fun to draw and I'll take any excuse I can to draw them :) |
