Other than being an enemy of Aquaman, Black Manta is probably one of my favorite villains just because he had a funky vocal effect in the 'Challenge of the Superfriends' cartoon that I'd watched since I was a kid. Plus, he could shoot beams out of his helmet's eyes. That's about it. Back then, all you really needed to be cool was a good voice effect. Er, back on topic here. I'm glad that this one didn't turn out as crappy as my usual stuff these days.You know, I really didn't plan on drawing that many bubbles. I started to add reflective qualities to the bubbles, but then I realized that'd be a pain in the butt for me to color. |
