One thing that I love about these doodle pages is how I write down things that I'd easily forget. If you're new to the site, you missed one of the first things to bring the artsite to a halt: a dead internet connection. What I can't remember is the identity of the drunken relative who irritated me to the point where I sketched one guy beating the bejeebus out of two other people. That's my 'watched too many HK action movies' style of fight scripting. Anyway, the guy in the corner (if you hadn't guessed) is me but I took the opportunity to practice some energy based shading. There's an unnamed male superhero there and the Ice Cream Man's head. That cartoony bear was practice for something that'll pop up in Nutroll's book. You'll know it when you see it. That bird is supposed to be the one from Biz Markie's video for Spring Again but with an incorrect medallion from being drawn without reference. |
