I'd been trying to draw a decent full pic of Hal Jordon for a while but none of the poses turned out right. I lightly pencilled this right before going to sleep and did all the serious work the next day. I made digital adjustments to the pic here and there as I was getting ready to color it.
The space background version with minor improvements was done April 18, 2010. You may be able to tell that I was getting the picture ready for his power ring aura effect by looking at the shading on his boots in the background version. |
