This was a quick pic that was done to show the Ice Cream Man being his funky self. His linework looks craggly because I was trying to learn how to ink with a brush. Bahahahaha, that was quickly the end of THAT noise. That was one of the main pics to get positive responses in the old artbook, probably due to the funny-yet-creepy look on his face.His opponents are from a group of cliché group of super-powered mercenaries that would be one of the many groups seeking to control him as a weapon in later stories. In fact, that's still part of the plan with this guy. Chances are, you'll be seeing a new version of this picture in a year or two. Don't worry... I'll ink him with a pen in the next one. Those attackers are wearing the old PowerKore uniforms back when they were known as the intentionally-ridiculous Power Clique. |
