Sean is like the classic kung-fu movie example of the rascally student who shows much potential in the beginning but becomes a more mature fighter (and man) by the end of the flick. I've tried to draw his redesigns in a Wild Tiger pose that I saw in a "Shaolin Five Animals" book since 2005 this picture has both the look I want for the character and a looser re-imagining of the pose that a student like Chan would use. He returns with the idea of wearing sneakers like the 2009 picture but I replaced the bad haircut in that attempt with something as close as I could get to his old hairstyle. I think the face here is just how his personality is in the stories so consider the character design and pose redeemed with this picture :) |
