A wide range of people I know from internet friends to blood relatives wanted me to draw a full Wonder Woman picture. I like WW too so I don't mind drawing one. I've made many attempts at this through 2009 but they were all stationary bracelet block poses that all looked too boring. For some odd reason, I started this one almost the same way but thought of her turning to block a bullet or something. Then I decided to draw this as if she could either be turning to block or she just got done with her famous TV-style transformation. I hope the hair and lasso show that motion since I tried the "use everything you can to show motion" rule here. After thinking about the face and getting feedback (thanks, Nangbaby), I redrew the mouth, digitally re-arranged the face and got the more stern look that I wanted. Coloring finished 2010/01/01 |
