This is yet another character from the half-buttockedly secret "When the War Begins Again" project. He, like nearly every 3rd character I make for it, took on a life of his own. He's part old-school B-boy, part medieval wizard (beard and the use of stars on his suit) and part old-school Kung-Fu grandmaster (long white eyebrows). His name would've been even longer ("The Magnificent Almighty Grandmaster D.J. Wizard" or something like that) but the effectiveness of Secret Awesome President's name led to me trim the fat off of a name that would've gotten tiresome as hell. I'm trying to loosen up a bit with these and this is probably the first pic that I could transmit some funk into. I'll probably redraw this once I have his design locked in 100%. |
