Guardians of the 'Hood was an arcade beat-em-up game in with digitized martial artists, athletes and others brawling on streets where the even the pedestrians can be as dangerous as the gangs. Unfortunately, the game play doesn't live up to the fun ideas they team had for this game. I still like the straight-to-90's-cable-movie-channel vibe of the game and wanted to make a few sprites to mingle with the regular sprites on my ScrollBoss site. I started with Tanya because she's one of the few Black female playable characters I'd ever seen in an action-adventure game. |
