Flash and Impulse (D.C. Comics) - 1997
Artwork by James Beaver

The Flash has been one of my favorite characters since childhood, so it's always fun to draw him. This is the Wally West version having a friendly race against Impulse, who isn't really pleased with how it's going. People liked it, but the main complaint people had was that Impulse's feet weren't big like Humberto Ramos drew 'em. As much as that's really a style thing with Ramos' work (which I'm a fan of) as opposed to him (and almost everyone else) having big feet then, I'll definitely give him thicker boots if I ever get a chance to draw him in that outfit again. And yes, Bart's thought balloon features a regulation sized 16 ton weight.
