Gilius is my almost my favorite character in Golden Axe, a close second only to Tyris Flare. This pic was my attempt to shake some of the rust off after a long time of not drawing (other than pixel art linework). The original version had a shorter axe, but I digitally changed it so it wouldn't look like the axe was too close for comfort. Gilius was fully colored in 2014, but I didn't get around to the coloring the Turtle Village background until 2015. |
