Here's Santessa, my Christmas mascot with the incredibly lazy name. The earlier pics were nearly always hastily and crappily drawn with an experimental style that I was messing with off and on over the years. This year's pic had more time put into it and it really shows. I got the style more to how I want it to look and I finally pulled the trigger on make her a bit more voluptuous (fitting for a super-powerful she-Santa). I also gave her a brown belt (so that her gloved arms won't blend in when they cross over) and intentionally-ridiculous glasses to add some variety to the Santa-girl vibe. I didn't put name tags on the gifts this time but I did use the background patterns from this site, ScrollBoss and Beans vs. Cornbread for the present wrapping. |
